This document clearly defines Chevron Pipe Line Company's (CPL) expectations of contractors. The Safety Handbook was first distributed at our 2004 Contractor Engagement Meetings and is part of the procurement contract with CPL for those contractors participating in the Contractor Safety Management program.
The intent of this handbook is to provide guidance to our contractors and employees on CPL expectations of its contractor workforce. The contents of this handbook should be reviewed, discussed and understood by contract personnel before any work is performed on CPL premises. If a safety issue arises that is not addressed in the handbook or by the contractor's own safety program, do not hesitate to ask for guidance from the contractor representative or a CPL representative.
